Each year around this time, people and companies alike reflect on what the year meant to them, whether those takeaways come in the form of challenges and lessons or accomplishments and celebrations. As we reviewed what 2019 meant to Sagefrog, it’s safe to say this was a year worthy of commemoration. From industry accolades and internal milestones, we’re more than pleased with our year-in-review and look forward to celebrating our accomplishments and building upon them in 2020.
1. Named a Best Place to Work, Again!
For the second consecutive year, we were named to Philadelphia Business Journal’s Best Place to Work List. Through an anonymous employee survey, Quantum Workplace in conjunction with PBJ analyzed answers that uncovered how our employees truly feel about Sagefrog’s workplace. This year, our employees’ responses met PBJ’s high statistical benchmark for employee engagement and satisfaction, earning us the BPTW distinction in the Small Company category for the second year.
“Being named a Best Place to Work for the second year in a row is something we’re truly proud of. We’re grateful that we’ve been recognized for consistently creating a company where each team member feels valued and is able to grow professionally and personally,” commented Creative Director and Co-founder at Sagefrog, Suzanne Morris.
2. Earned Top Marketing Agency Awards
Awards were abundant this year, recognizing our B2B digital marketing capabilities, public relations expertise, and agency growth. We’re incredibly proud to have earned accolades, including:
- Best Digital Marketing Agency in Philadelphia by HubSpot
- Top Web Designer & Brand Leader in PA and NJ by Clutch
- Top Marketing & Advertising Firm in Philadelphia by Clutch
- Top 10 Public Relations Firm and Largest Ad Agencies in New Jersey by NJBIZ
- Top Full-service Marketing Agency in the Philadelphia Region by Philadelphia Business Journal
- Top Marketing Agency in Lehigh Valley by Lehigh Valley Business Journal
3. Scored 95% on the EOS® Organizational CheckupTM
We implemented EOS® (Entrepreneurial Operating System) three years ago and have experienced rapid yet controlled growth since. The EOS® Organizational CheckupTM measures our ability to manage our business based on the system’s Six Key Components which include Vision, Data, Process, Traction, Issues, and People. This year, we achieved a record-high Checkup score of 95% – an impressive metric when compared to the EOS-graduate requirement of 80%.
Our mastery of EOS has also enabled us to better serve other companies – especially those that already run on the system. Want to IDS in your next L10? We encourage you to try EOS!
4. Achieved Record-Breaking Revenue
For this accomplishment, we must thank our now more than 300 incredible clients served, spanning B2B healthcare, technology, industrial, and business services companies, many in Greater Philadelphia and New Jersey. Without their partnerships, we wouldn’t be where we are and it’s our pleasure to work to accelerate their success every single day. Additionally, we’re grateful to our growing, talented team of account managers and experts in digital, creative, and content capabilities for their unrelenting passion and dedication to the job. Thank you all for your contributions to our record-breaking revenue.
5. Hosted First-Ever FrogForum Event
Expanding upon our quarterly State of the Company (SOC) event, in which we review where we’ve been and where we’re going as a company, we hosted our first-ever FrogForum event. Held at Stacks, Co. in Doylestown, the FrogForum gave every team member an opportunity to present their Rocks, or “special projects,” from the previous quarter and knowledge-share with the full team.
From introducing new website development capabilities, ROI processes, and our enhanced cloud environment to sharing knowledge from content marketing certifications and design advancements, the high-energy event was an opportunity for our growing team across different departments to understand what their fellow-frogs have been up to, as well as a chance for people to practice their presentation skills. This FrogForum won’t be our last; it’s been instated as a quarterly event.
