About Sagefrog
We have a simple mission at Sagefrog: To accelerate our clients’ success through brand building and integrated marketing. We’re looking for a full-time SEO Specialist with 2–5 years of hands-on experience to join our team and take ownership of client SEO strategies.
This role supports the development of SEO strategies and independently implements tactics for clients on time and within budget. The position requires in-office presence a few times each quarter, so candidates must reside within 50 miles of our Doylestown, PA headquarters.
About the Role
The Impact You’ll Make:
- You’ll independently manage SEO programs, including strategy, execution, and reporting, for multiple clients or campaigns
- You’ll develop monthly SEO strategies for clients, leveraging on-page, off-page, and technical tactics to balance quick wins with long-term gains that drive results and ROI
- You’ll conduct keyword research to identify opportunities for enhancing client visibility
- You’ll leverage digital marketing tools and platforms, including Databox, CRMs, WordPress SEO (e.g., Yoast), SEMrush, Ahrefs, Google Analytics, and Search Console, to inform and enhance SEO strategies
- You’ll understand client industries and keep up with news and trends to suggest SEO strategies
- You’ll collaborate with team members to maximize the impact of monthly SEO hours, understanding how paid search/advertising, content, and other marketing strategies complement and impact search
- You’ll review new content for SEO alignment, facilitating optimization for search rankings
- You’ll conduct audits and provide monthly reports on Databox KPIs and insights
- You’ll attend client meetings to deliver SEO updates, provide recommendations, and support account growth
- You’ll build client rapport by asking relevant questions, taking practical notes, and thinking on your feet
- You’ll mentor junior SEO employees and support copywriters with SEO best practices as needed
- You’ll stay informed on search marketing trends, pursue relevant certifications, and explore new search marketing platforms to benefit your clients and the team
- You’ll propose ideas to enhance Sagefrog’s processes, products, and results
- You’ll collaborate with an awesome team of designers, writers, digital marketers, and developers

- Focused on SEO copywriting while simultaneously contributing to greater agency goals
- Bachelor’s degree and 2–5 years of professional marketing experience required; prior agency experience strongly preferred
